Hi, I’m Matt
I’m an artist and writer based in central Ohio. With over a decade of professional experience in digital art, my strengths lie in visual storytelling and creating expressive characters. Whether it's storyboards, comic pages, or standalone illustrations, I’m passionate about crafting art that draws viewers in and leaves them eager for more of the story.
I’ve had the pleasure of illustrating Sal Silvester’s The Deeply Human Workplace and self-publishing two comics, Float and Back Alley Beast. Recently my comic Color Dream placed in the top 10 of a short-story anthology competition hosted by Tapas and Kickstarter. Currently I’m working with my literary agent (Jes Trudel of The Rights Factory) to develop a debut graphic novel. I’m also excited to be working on a yet-to-be-announced project through Anthem Books (an imprint of Simon and Schuster).
When I’m not illustrating, I work as a creative director for various freelance clients.
